This approach accounts for normal variation during fills and is standard for systems where precise measurement by volume is impractical at the service point.
  • The Xterrain 850 E-TEC Turbo with Radien2 cooling, introduced in 2024, is the only configuration in the lineup with a stated volumetric coolant capacity, specified at 7.3 to 7.8 liters. The range reflects acceptable variation between a minimum and maximum fill, consistent with how other configurations express level targets, but here defined in absolute volume terms rather than by reservoir markings.
  • The Radien2-equipped configurations, both the 850 E-TEC Turbo and the non-turbo 850 E-TEC Radien2 introduced in 2023, carry a coolant check interval of 3,000 km or 12 months, whichever comes first. All other Xterrain configurations specify a check interval of 12 months only, without a distance-based trigger.
  • The 60-month coolant change interval applies uniformly across all six configurations, from the 600 E-TEC through to the 850 E-TEC Turbo Radien2. This interval is consistent regardless of engine displacement, induction type, or the presence of a distance-based check interval.
