• The 4.4-liter intercooler capacity reflects the presence of a dedicated liquid-cooled charge air cooling loop, which is separate from the primary engine coolant circuit. A forced-induction engine of this type routes compressed intake air through a heat exchanger cooled by its own coolant supply, accounting for the additional volume.
• The 2.1-liter power control unit capacity corresponds to a liquid cooling loop dedicated to the hybrid drive electronics. Hybrid vehicles commonly use a separate low-temperature coolant circuit to regulate inverter and motor control unit temperatures, distinct from the engine's higher-temperature loop.
