  • The Case-IH Farmlift transfer box capacity splits into two distinct values across the model range: 1.8 liters on the 632, 635, 735, 742 (2015-2018), 935, and 1.45 liters on the 633, 636, 737, and 742 (2018 onward). A transfer box capacity figure represents a service fill volume, meaning the amount of fluid required when refilling a drained but otherwise intact unit rather than a fully disassembled overhaul.
  • The Farmlift 742 carries a generation-dependent capacity change: the 2015-2018 build uses 1.8 liters, while the 2018 onward build uses 1.45 liters. The 935, by contrast, retains the 1.8-liter capacity across both its 2015-2018 and 2018 onward configurations.
  • Models with an initial service interval — the 632, 635, 735, 742 (2015-2018), and 935 (2015-2018) — specify a first transfer box fluid change at 250 hours. This shortened interval reflects the break-in period common to new mechanical assemblies, during which metal-to-metal contact generates fine wear particles that accumulate in the fluid more rapidly than under steady-state operation.
