• Across the Case-IH Farmlift range, differential fluid capacities fall into two distinct values: a range of 7.5–8.5 liters and a fixed value of 8 liters. A capacity expressed as a range, rather than a single figure, typically reflects acceptable fill variation between a minimum and maximum mark, while a fixed value indicates a precise service fill target.
• The 7.5–8.5 liter capacity range applies to the front and rear differentials of the Farmlift 632, 635, 735, and 742 models introduced in 2015, as well as the Farmlift 935 from 2015-2018. The spread of one liter between the minimum and maximum in these specifications accommodates normal fluid expansion and measurement tolerance during a service fill.
• The fixed 8 liter capacity applies to the Farmlift 633, 636, 737, and 935 models introduced in 2018, as well as the Farmlift 742 from 2018 onward. An exact single-value capacity is common when a differential housing design allows for a more controlled fill procedure with a defined overflow or level port.
• The Farmlift 742 and 935 each carry two separate differential fluid specifications tied to different model year ranges. The 2015-2018 versions of both models use the 7.5–8.5 liter range, while the 2018 onward versions specify exactly 8 liters, indicating a design or specification revision at that point.
• Front and rear differential capacities are identical within every model listed. On telehandler-type machines such as the Farmlift series, front and rear axle differentials often share a similar housing architecture, which can account for matching fluid volumes across both axles.
