  • The Giant Articulated loaders transfer case (transferbox) fluid capacity is 1.5 liters across both the V501 with Deutz D2.9 L04 and the V761T with Deutz TD2.9 L04 Stage IIIb / Tier 4f configurations, each starting from 2015.
  • Under normal use conditions, the transferbox fluid level on the V501 is subject to a check interval of every 500 hours, with a full fluid change required at 1,000 hours or 12 months, whichever comes first.
  • The 12-month time-based change interval runs alongside the 1,000-hour threshold for normal use, meaning calendar time alone can trigger a fluid change even when the hour count has not been reached.
  • An initial service change interval of 100 hours applies to the V501 transferbox, separate from the normal 1,000-hour change cycle, reflecting the break-in period during which new fluid is more susceptible to contamination from component wear-in.
  • The V761T with the turbocharged Deutz TD2.9 L04 engine shares the identical 1.5-liter transferbox capacity and the same 500-hour check and 1,000-hour/12-month change schedule as the naturally aspirated V501, despite the difference in engine specification.
