• The Renault Fuego (EU) manual transaxle holds a uniform 2-liter fluid capacity across all trim levels and engine variants covered in the 1980-1985 specifications. A 2-liter service fill figure for a manual transaxle reflects a relatively compact integrated gearbox-and-differential unit, consistent with front-wheel-drive layouts of that era.
• The TL, GTL (47 kW), TS, GTS (71 kW), and TX, GTX (81 kW) petrol variants all share an identical service schedule under normal use conditions: a fluid level check every 7,500 km or 6 months, and a full fluid change every 30,000 km.
• The Fuego Turbo Diesel (66 kW), covering 1982-1985, carries a notably different change interval of 60,000 km or 36 months under normal use, which is twice the distance interval specified for the petrol trims. The check interval for the diesel is set at 5,000 km or 6 months, shorter by 2,500 km than the petrol variants.
• Despite the diesel variant's extended change interval, the transaxle fluid capacity remains at 2 liters, identical to all petrol configurations. The longer drain interval does not correspond to any difference in fill volume.
• The TL and GTL trim specifications include an alternative (acceptable) fluid entry alongside the normal-use entry, both citing the same 2-liter capacity and the same 7,500 km check and 30,000 km change intervals. The presence of an alternative fluid designation indicates that more than one fluid type was recognized as suitable for that transaxle without altering service timing.
• Across the three petrol power outputs — 47 kW, 71 kW, and 81 kW — the manual transaxle specifications show no variation in either capacity or service intervals. The 34 kW spread between the lowest and highest petrol outputs does not produce any differentiation in fluid service requirements.
