  • The MG-F 1.6i (2001-2002) transaxle is the only configuration in this set to list two distinct capacity values: 2.4 liters for a dry fill and 2.2 liters for a service fill. The dry fill figure applies when the unit is completely empty, such as after a full rebuild or replacement, while the service fill figure reflects the lower volume needed when some residual fluid remains in the housing during a routine fluid change.
  • All other configurations across both the MG-F and MG-TF model lines share a uniform transaxle capacity of 2.2 liters, which aligns with the service fill value of the 1.6i and suggests a consistent internal volume across the transaxle units used in these variants.
