• The front differential on all AWD configurations across the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer WS lineup holds 1.1 liters of fluid, a capacity consistent with compact front differential housings used in full-size SUV platforms.
• The rear differential, whether in limited slip or electronic limited slip form, carries a 1.4 liter capacity across every listed configuration. The larger volume compared to the front unit reflects the greater torque loads handled by the rear axle in a rear-biased AWD system.
• Under normal use conditions, the front and rear differentials are specified for a fluid check at 20,000 miles or 24 months, whichever comes first. A check interval, rather than a change, means the fluid level and condition are inspected but replacement is not automatically required at that point.
• Under severe use conditions, the same 20,000-mile or 24-month interval becomes a fluid change rather than a check. Severe use typically encompasses towing, off-road operation, frequent stop-and-go driving, or extreme temperature exposure, all of which accelerate fluid degradation.
• The interval structure is identical across the 3.0-liter inline-six, 5.7 V8, and 6.4 V8 engine variants. Differential service timing is therefore driven by use conditions rather than powertrain output in the Wagoneer WS specifications.
• Two-wheel-drive Wagoneer 3.0 and 5.7 V8 configurations appear without a front differential entry, as no front axle differential is present in non-AWD drivetrains. Only rear differential entries are listed for those variants.
