GAC GS3
Manual transmission fluid capacity & service interval
The GAC GS3 uses manual transmission fluid with a capacity ranging from 2.1 to 2.5 liters depending on the configuration. Four configurations of the GS3 model are covered in the data.
The configuration chart below lists fill volumes and service intervals for each engine and trim variant.
| Type | Specifications |
|---|---|
| GS3 Power 1.5T (110 kW) (2022- ) |
|
| GS3 Power 1.5T (117 kW) (2022- ) |
|
| GS3 1.3T (2017-2022) |
|
| GS3 1.5 (2017-2022) |

Additional Notes
- The GAC GS3 manual transaxle capacity splits into two distinct values across the model range: 2.5 liters for the 1.3T and 1.5 naturally aspirated variants, and 2.1 liters for the GS3 Power 1.5T variants introduced from 2022.
- A transaxle combines the transmission and drive axle differential into a single housing, meaning the 2.5-liter and 2.1-liter figures each represent the total fluid volume required to service that integrated unit.
- The 1.3T and 1.5 engines share an identical manual transaxle capacity of 2.5 liters across the 2017-2022 model years, indicating a common gearbox unit between two otherwise different powertrains.
- Both GS3 Power 1.5T output variants, rated at 110 kW and 117 kW respectively, share the same 2.1-liter manual transaxle capacity from 2022, suggesting a shared gearbox design despite the difference in power output.
- The 0.4-liter reduction in transaxle capacity between the earlier 1.3T and 1.5 configurations and the GS3 Power 1.5T units reflects a physically different gearbox rather than a minor specification adjustment.
- All four configurations carry a normal use condition designation, meaning the stated capacities apply under standard operating circumstances rather than severe-duty or first-fill scenarios.
